Enrolments are considered only when the application form and payment of the application fee are received. Upon the approval by the Head of School, the student will either be allocated a place for the year requested or placed on the waiting list. Students are allocated places in order of application; however, the School reserves the right to allocate places at its discretion in special circumstances. Enrolment is considered as vacancies become available.

Admissions Requirements

 The requirements of the admissions process vary by grade level. Please visit the section of your child's grade level for further information.Students are admitted in Pre-Kindergarten based on the results of a language readiness observation. Older students are admitted in higher grades only if they are appropriately experienced in their language of study.

Placement Tests

 Placements tests are given to all new students entering grades K-12. Their purpose is to ensure appropriate placement into the program, as well as the right level of learning support. Placement tests usually occur in the time period between acceptance and starting school. In some instances, a Head of School may request a placement test prior to making an admissions decision in order to assess the suitability of a student to the DL learning program.


Sibling Policy

 If a qualified sibling and a non-sibling apply for the same available opening, preference will be given to the sibling applicant.
