The requirements of the admissions process vary by
grade level. Please visit the section of your child's grade level for
further information.Students are admitted in Pre-Kindergarten based on
the results of a language readiness observation. Older students are
admitted in higher grades only if they are appropriately experienced in
their language of study.

Denmark International School (DL) admits qualified students of any race, color, gender, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school and it is impartial in its educational policies, admissions policies, athletic and other school administered programs with respect to these characteristics.
Placements tests are given to all new students entering grades K-12. Their purpose is to ensure appropriate placement into the program, as well as the right level of learning support. Placement tests usually occur in the time period between acceptance and starting school. In some instances, a Head of School may request a placement test prior to making an admissions decision in order to assess the suitability of a student to the DL learning program.
If a qualified sibling and a non-sibling apply for the same available opening, preference will be given to the sibling applicant.
